Stories from the Edge of Canada Through Paint

Newfoundland has become one of the most influential landscapes in my painting practice. Through artist residencies, road trips, ferry crossings, and long drives through outport communities, the province has slowly entered my work through colour, atmosphere, symbolism, and storytelling.

The paintings below are inspired by the geography and emotional landscape of Newfoundland, from fog-covered coastlines and roadside architecture to ferries, landscape, iconic symbols, weather, isolation, music, and memory.

These works are currently available through my profile on Artsy.
